What to expect
Starting therapy, whether it’s for the first time or after taking a break, can always be daunting. You’re having to tell your story to someone new and are hoping that they will be a good fit for you and help you achieve your goals.
If you’re someone from a chaotic family or with relational trauma, it can be extra difficult to find a therapist that understands those dynamics and helps you navigate them with more clarity and confidence.
In the first session, we will collaborate on creating your initial goals for therapy and explore your history, symptoms and strengths in a conversational and compassionate way. Treatment will continue from there to be collaborative, supportive as well as tailored to you, your preferences and your needs.
